Prove it. show the pressures and the temp drop before it's put on and after it's set up to show it actually works. unless the unit is barely cooling at all simply adding a shroud to shade the cover won't cause the unit to go from a 18-20 degree temp drop to a 28-30. typically any more than a 22 degree drop across the coil means you have a airflow issue.
