I don’t usually get involved, but that’s just an inch and a half drain from a kitchen with a tailpiece washer inside. I hope you have an axis panel to change that tailpiece Washer and you did not solder that that comes flange like that from Home Depot or where you bought it from you are a good plumber

Funny you mention the connection on those floor faucets - we have one ! went out of country on vacation and the fitting broke and flooded the basement $60k later we have a fully redone basement !

If the tub leaks and pours through ceiling it’s the plumbers fault , meanwhile you can’t see if island tub drain is leaking until it pours through ceiling, completely sucks
