I take the lids off the dairy to check the seals, I touch all of the eggs to make sure they aren’t cracked and stuck to the carton, I open up the lunch meat containers and look for the weird purple things, I push down the top to the ice cream to make sure there isn’t a scoop taken out, and I don’t take the item at the front of the shelf. I feel as though I am having a sudden realization about myself 🤔

We check all seals and we grab the items in the back as well. Groceries are too damn expensive to take chances.

I do the same thing. I also inspect seals on jars and check the seals on condiments. I also wont buy any produce thats in the front couple rows. thats crotch height and people lean over them... yuck. when I buy berries i turn them over to see if any of the bottom ones are mushy or starting to mold

I inspect everything. Eggs, berries get the 360 plus opening, check for seals (🦭) and expiration dates, etc. Grandma taught me well. It’s not our fault some other people don’t know how to shop. 💕

You do you. Don’t carry her feelings, she can carry her own feelings. You’re doing great & it’s smart to make sure the food you’re buying is good. It’s too expensive to be all willy nilly about broken seals.
