If it comes down to 5th gens the Su-57 and F-35 are the best, the F-22 and J-20 are overly expensive and useless. The F-22 while arguably the best Air Superiority fighter, and has an insane TWR, it has radio communication problems (needing a U-2 spy plane to communicate with other aircraft) and isn’t exactly ideal for any job but being an element of fear. The J-20 while having the longest range out of all 5th gens, and having great radar capabilities has been spotted on radars (at the range stealth should work btw) and can’t carry much in comparison to other 5th gens. On the other hand: the SU-57 is cheaper than other 5th gens, carries more than other 5th gens, has better multirole capabilities than other 5th gens (beside the F-35) and is the only 5th gen with suspected air to air kills (beside drones and balloons), it’s issue being it has low numbers built and a larger RCS. The F-35 is high in numbers, has the greatest radar capabilities comparable to all 5th gens, has the ability to land on helicopter pads and helicarriers due to its VTOL/STOL capabilities, the F-35 is also very abundant in numbers, but has a lower speed and a slightly higher RCS in comparison to other 5th gens.
