Both tracks feature similar musical themes and chord progressions. The track follows Hetfield’s search for reason and love in a girl, complete with a Hammett guitar solo. In September 2008’s Death Magnetic, Metallica goes on to release a sequel to the track, “The Unforgiven III,” completing “The Unforgiven” trilogy.
