We use solder connectors like this at Mercedes Benz per MBUSA guidance. If they’re legit enough for Benz they’re good enough for me. I imagine the quality of the connectors varies but I can vouch this style is legit

Bought this exact pack and it’s literally the worst quality stuff I’ve ever used. Best part about it is the plastic box to fill with other stuff

I have used these for years. They work well. If it fails it was my fault. The one thing that bothers me is that I constantly have used these for years but mostly the red ones. They run out. I can’t find where the red ones only are sold. I have so many of the others I will have to throw them away….

I would use these as long as I was convinced I wouldn’t need to take them apart again for a long time. If I ever need to swap or test I might use connectors instead.
