I like story quests when characters are good and we know them, like durin’s (despite the 5 day timegate) bc it has interesting characters. Like his mom and also other playable characters like albedo and wanderer. But so many story quests only have the character and bunch of npcs we’ve never seen before that we don’t care about, like Chasca’s auntie in her quest, that betray us every time and every time I don’t care. And most of those npc quests are detective stories for some reason, and are not very good ones, more like Scooby-do episodes
