LIFE Today, as South Africa commemorates Human Rights Day, we are reminded that the right to healthcare is not a privilege, it is a fundamental human right. While many go about their daily lives, at Chris Hani Baragwanath Academic Hospital, a life has just touched down, quite literally. A patient, transported by helicopter, has landed on our helipad in the heart of Soweto.
