Hello, I hope this message finds you well. I’ve spent some time looking through your page, and I felt compelled to reach out. The mobility scooters you share are truly remarkable—to many. They are likely just machines, but to someone in my position, they look like a glimpse of a life I’ve missed for a very long time. My journey with multiple sclerosis began thirteen years ago. At the time, I was working and building a future, but a sudden, devastating flare-up changed everything. I never returned to my job or to the house I dreamed of growing old in. My world became very small, and for the last four years, it has been viewed entirely from a wheelchair. My greatest light in this world is my two beautiful daughters. They are the reason I find the strength to keep moving and the reason I fight to be the father they deserve, even when my body feels like it has given up. Navigating daily life has become a quiet struggle. Simple tasks like grocery shopping or getting to appointments feel like mountains. I recently had a heartbreaking moment where my wheelchair bearing broke, leaving me stranded in the rain, completely exposed to the elements, and unable to move. In those moments, it’s hard not to feel like you’ve lost a piece of your dignity. After spending over a year of my life in hospitals and rehabilitation centers, I still try every day to be the strong man I once was. Seeing the enclosed mobility devices on your page felt like seeing a dream. To have something safe, weather protected, and reliable would mean more than just transportation to me it would mean gaining back my dignity as a man and a human being.
