You have to make sure the big towel you’re using has not been washed with fabric softener added in the rinse cycle. It must be free of fabric softener otherwise you’ll be adding another layer of ick to the glass.

Tip….. if it’s hot out, don’t do this while the windshield is in the hot sun 🤨 the soap water dries too fast and is hard to get off!

NOTHING works better than alcohol, water, and a drop or two of Dawn dish soap in a spray bottle. I used Sprayway for years. I’m over it!!! Oh, and alcohol is much cheaper

Vinegar, water and rubbing alcohol. No dish soap required. Use a microfiber towel. 1/4 cup of vinegar, 1/4 rubbing alcohol, 2 cups of water. Add to a spray bottle. Spray down and wipe till dry

When I clean my glass on my machines at work, I do this method, but I only use literally a drop of dawn dish soap. That’s it.

Get a empty spray bottle and use windshield washer fluid works the best and a 2 dollar gallon will last a long time
