Lebanon and Israel have no real dispute or animosity - except for Hezbollah's own violence against Israel. Israel completely withdrew from Lebanon 25 years ago, and has no territorial claims over any part of Lebanon. Both Israel and the majority of Lebanese people will happily have peace between each other. The only thing stopping iyt Hezbollah's constant war against Israel, and Hezbollah's threat of violence against any moderate Lebanese who opposes them.
