Alex Bon Space — There Is Only Today A year ago I stumbled on a 15-second clip on Instagram. @lazaro45ive had built a world in Blender - a girl sitting on the edge of a skyscraper, looking out at a cyberpunk city at night. And over it, a voice said: "For some of us, there's only today." It felt like that clip was made just for me. I never forgot it. I live in Kyiv. There's a war going on. You hear air raid sirens, you stay in bed, you keep living. Or you don't. Every time a missile hits, someone's "tomorrow" just disappears. No warning, no goodbye, no final scene. Just silence where a life used to be. A year passed. It feels like ten. During war, time doesn't move the way it used to. When I started making music, that clip came flooding back. The girl on the rooftop. The neon. The voice. And suddenly I understood why it had stayed with me - because now I was living inside those words. So I made this. The words come from Lauren Oliver's novel "Before I Fall." I reached out to her, sent her the track, and she said yes. That meant everything to me. So press play. And listen to the ending. The words shift. The twist is small, but if you catch it, it changes everything that came before. The visuals are my love letter to that Instagram clip I can't let go of. A cyberpunk world where androids sit alone at bars, where a cat watches a sunset through broken glass, where a girl with glowing implants sits on a rooftop in the rain - and you can't tell if she's remembering something or letting it go.
