Not prison but when I was 10 my Nan was in ITU in hospital. When she came round I wasn’t allowed to see her as my Mun thought I would find it upsetting. My Nan and I had a little thing where we would write each other stories in code. She kept handing these notes to the nurses and my mum to give to me and I kept giving ones back. They got concerned by some of the things she was writing (which I totally got!) but to them they were out of context. They thought my Nan was going crazy until I explained the whole thing. Long story short I got to see her because they thought it would be less complex lol😂 x
