@alicevanderpump: For the mummies that struggle with bad reflux, gas and babies that don’t latch well and swallow lots of air. This is the technique Sam and I have started using that works for us. ##latch##newborn##bottlefeeding##bottlefeedingtips
Swap to the Tommee tippee advanced anti colic bottles and the advanced anti colic teats to go with the bottle, I was using mam bottles with my boy who has reflux and after I swapped and put him in anti reflux milk, different baby such a game changers

When he is drinking his Milk make sure the whole of the teat is filled with milk if not he will be sucking in the air

My son had really bad reflux too when he was born, I was constantly obsessing over his weight as he would literally burp and a fountain of milk would come out of his mouth. He eventually stopped drinking milk from a bottle and I tried everything from spooning milk to using those plastic medication syringes to ensure he was fed. In the end I had to ween him super early and I always stressed his bones would be weak and he wouldn’t grow. It was mentally and emotionally one of the hardest things I went through and put so much pressure on myself. But I want to tell you what a great job you are doing and that boy of mine is now 21, 6ft 2, strong and healthy - so from one Mum to another, don’t stress about it, you can only do your best and you’ve got this ❤️

never heard of the dummy thing wouldn't that confuse him and suck harder when he gets the bottle? also make sure there is more milk in the teat half and half will cause him to take too much air in. but pace feeding is good. it's so hard to know what to do with this

your holding the bottle angled where there’s not full milk in the teat that’s why he’s getting more air xx

Has he been prescribed gaviscon and donperidone? Worked great for my little one with reflux but he seems to act like my son did which a milk allergy. It’s worth trying a different milk and seeing if he’s better x
