Hello guys, i would like to buy these little Ecuadorian Hermit Crabs but idk if 50x30x30 aquarium is good for 2/3 crabs or buy an Ikea Box (bigger than the Aquarium). Idk if plastic box is good for them cuz i am lowk broke

What else could I add to this 120? I have 3 crabs in there atm. More sand and deep bowls are otw, anything else I should add? The light on top is just a phone flash, and the mesh cover is covered in clear tape to keep humidity in until I can afford a custom plexi glass lid for the tank!!

Hi! I just got my hermit crabs about a week ago and they came in a 20 gallon tank for 4 hermit crabs. This is a 55 gallon, how does it look? What could I improve? I’m adding climbing things to the walls tommrow since the rest of my packages will be here.

Don’t they need 6-8 inches of substrate? That’s what my research said. I have about 6.5 inches in my tank, but there has been soo many people that I’ve seen who only have like 2-3 inches. So I’m just confused bc if I don’t have to have that much in my tank then I want to take some out so mine have more room to climb.

So when you make it an 80 gallon does that mean you can add more crabs? I have a 29 gallon tank with two crabs in it currently and I’m adding a 20 gallon topper and I was wondering if that means I could have one more crab in there with them.
