Sir, to my knowledge macOS is not capable for most cybersecurity task. Return it and get you a Windows gaming laptop for the same price or if you have a little bit more to invest into a pc. But a Mac for that career is not gonna let you exceed your full potential

I started broke with a Chromebook running Linux. There's nothing wrong with buying a nice laptop, but it shouldn't make you think "oh I won't start it I don't have it".
