La marche arrière n’est pas synchronisée avec les autres vitesses donc pour éviter il faut passer une vitesse au hasards avant d’enclencher la marche arrière pour synchroniser la marche arrière et cest valable dans toutes les boîtes manuelles VAG

You need to place 1ST GEAR FIRST, THEN REVERSE..thank me later 🙈 that's because it's using the "same gear" for reverse.
