i apologize the time I was new in the game, my brother told me to try any hero. My ass took emre and I didn't know flying was a thing in overwatch, so I panicked and immediately died 😭 and I always thought every mode is the same (my first was flashpoint) so I was searching for the flashpoint during a Payload mode🗿 I also spent just so many minutes staring at details of the maps instead of playing 😭😭

no but like it's not even fair. I have like 500 hours and I am placed with brand new, level 2 players every match which isn't really the big issue, it's that the enemies are NEVER new. They're always lvl 60, 100, 200. And I just get rolled instantly, every match is 2-4 minutes long they have no game sense at all and the enemies are sweats every single time like how is this happening every match

I only started playing OW this year (support main) and it's my first ever shooter too. I don't think I'm horrible at the game, but my god I feel you 😭 From the other side, I would love to be paired with other newer players and especially against. Nothing is more miserable than being a newbie team randomly matched against experienced players who then clown on you post game in chat. "Tank diff" yeah no shit you played against a lvl 1 dva. It's gotten to the point where when I get paired with people who've clearly been playing for a while I apologize in chat before the match even starts just in case people get mad at me for not being good enough. I don't run into this as much on support but on tank and dps I am a baby duckling among swans and I wish there were more ducklings around me so games aren't as onesided.

Not only is it frustrating for people who’ve been playing for a while, but it also doesn’t give the new players the chance to get better. Especially with the QP warriors who just take kill after kill on the new players so much so that they can’t even learn because they’re dying as soon as they get back on point. And ik there’s practice games for a reason but playing again AI is not the same as playing against real people at all

when overwatch was revamped the matchmaking was such ass I was on teams with new players and the other team were all like diamond. it was quick play but still it's not enjoyable being steamrolled by players that know what they were doing,
