Laurieanne Gibson was an amazing choreographer for the girls. She would push the girls to dance outside of their constant set dancing. The issue was that she applied her background in dance productions for singers and performers, which was different than the typical dances that the competitions would have. She also listened to the girls and their input.

nah i feel like she was set up. her choreography was v v good (let’s not forgot her resume) , she just doesn’t do COMPETITIVE choreography , it was commercial. and the moms knew that. why are we hiring a commercial choreographer knowing that we do basic comp choreo ???

I feel like competitions are like exams there’s very specific mark schemes and judgements like Abby could do a pretty lyrical with the same moves 1000x and get in the top 5 but the minute you do something fun and entertaining it’s right at the bottom
