My OB has no pictures of babies and that is the first thing I said when I had my first visit with her was " I'm so glad you don't have any pictures of babies " because I just don't want kids and it makes me feel like that's the only purpose of going there

💚💚💚 when i found out i definitively needed a hysterectomy the hardest part of that whole visit was having to sit in the ultrasound room watching the huge tv screen looking at all the problems going on and knowing i would never get to have a happy ultrasound. i tried to look anywhere else in the room to not see the screen, there were baby pictures on the walls and i remember thinking of other women who were in this same spot also receiving bad news and having to see those pictures. choking back the tears and reminding myself i made it through cancer i can do this too. i wish i would have asked to have the tv turned off and just stared at a blank screen.

I love this. At my obs office if you are coming in after a miscarriage they take you straight back to a room as soon as you check in so you aren’t in a waiting room with babies or anyone pregnant and it was a really sweet idea

As someone who experienced 2 losses last year, I didn’t realize how hard a women’s clinic might be when you’re surrounded by people celebrating their pregnancies (even with one baby in tow). Thank you for the thoughtfulness 🥹

Love that you see ur office in ur patients eyes. I go to a CHC and we have a patient board for the purpose of helping our clients feel safe. I love the idea of artwork. Right now are walls are blank. They need color desperately 💕

Love it!! Thank You. As a woman who has never wanted to procreate and only goes to the OB/GYN for my health screening the viewing of baby pics does nothing to my emotions. But I can see how it could be triggering for those who have lost a baby or want a baby and just aren't able to get pregnant or carry. So thank you for thinking of those women.
