This is one of the biggest problems, a family owned businesses, trying to move to the next generation. A small business can usually survive with a husband and wife working hard together, but when I get to next generation, there’s usually more mouths to feed, and where a business might’ve barely gotten by to support two owners the pie can only be cut so many ways. And then some siblings think they are owed ownership just because their parents owned it to start with.

No NTA some people you really need to call them out if she wanted to buy the business she could’ve done that before but wasnt able to since she didnt have enough money and if you put it in perspective, she’s getting the best deal in the end. She’s working but not investing and eventually going to get half the business in the future once she save up.
