@potteryprincess8: pull your walls evenly + don’t skip compressing your rim 🤍 when you pull evenly, you’re building consistent thickness from bottom to top so the piece has strength and balance while you’re throwing. if one area is thicker or thinner, it throws off your control and makes the form harder to shape cleanly. and compressing the rim isn’t just for looks… it aligns the clay particles at the top so it doesn’t flare out, wobble, or start cracking as you keep working. it also makes every next pull smoother. basically… if your rim is messy, your whole piece will fight you 😭 save this for your next wheel session and tell me if you feel the difference
