@zebfilmss: In early versions of The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Gwen Stacy’s death was followed by a much darker scene. After her fall, Peter Parker was originally shown returning to Harry Osborn in a rage and nearly ending him while Harry mocked Gwen. The sequence was reportedly cut after test audiences found it too disturbing and overly dark for a superhero film.
