The cause/effect of why you are taught to cut fabric laying FLAT and to wash any fabric prior to stitching. Cheap fashion thrives not because we are poor but because we are not taught quality.

Nope, I knew about the bias cut from my mother and aunt. My aunt attended the Fashion Institute in NYC for high school. She designed for small department stores in the 1950s. One store that I can remember was Winkleman’s in Detroit.
