@fationatefoodbelly: The Vietnamese aunty was trying to tell the tourist lady to move inside because the tourist lady wanted to go close to the track. The train was already coming. She might not have sounded nice, but everything was happening fast. The tourist lady got upset about the way she was being told and started acting like Karen about it. The Viet aunty was doing her job. She doesn’t speak English, so she was using hand gestures to say “move back from the track or you’re gonna get hit.” Train Street is a historical landmark and really cool to see, but we still have to respect the locals and their businesses. If someone gets hurt, the whole street could get shut down and people would lose their businesses. They’re trying to keep it open, so we just gotta be respectful and not act like Karens.
