This Cardiff gem has been serving up spicy, flavour-packed chicken for a few years now, and with the recent opening of their Canton branch, they’re showing no signs of slowing down. It had been way too long since my last visit (yes, I am ashamed!), so a trip to their new Canton spot was a no-brainer. What we ordered: • Chicken Tenders • Fury Fries • Biscoff Milkshake We went for the medium spice level for the tenders, which if you know Fowl and Fury - isn’t for the faint-hearted. Their medium would probably be classed as hot or even extra hot elsewhere, but for me, the spice was perfect: fiery, full of flavour, and seriously juicy. None of that powdery, oily chicken here - this is Nashville-style chicken done right. The Fury Fries are a great all rounder: crispy crinkle cut fries topped with chicken tenders, coleslaw, pickles, comeback sauce, and cheese sauce (though I went for no cheese sauce as I prefer melted cheese over cheese sauce). We opted for the mild spice on these, and the flavour combo was chef’s kiss. That comeback sauce is ridiculously addictive. My only complaint is that I wanted more chicken on the fries which I knew already and was the reason I got the extra tenders on their own. I chopped up one of my tenders, and threw it on top of the fury fries - problem solved! Now the milkshake. The Biscoff milkshake was their special at the time, but honestly, it deserves a permanent place on the menu. I’m usually not big on milkshakes with meals (they can be a bit much), but this one complimented the meal perfectly - great flavour, dreamy consistency, and not overly sweet. Fowl and Fury definitely lives up to the hype. Their chicken game is unmatched in Cardiff - bold flavours, quality ingredients, and generous portions. The pricing is very reasonable for what you get, and the staff are super friendly. So, next time you’re craving comfort food with a spicy kick, give Fowl and Fury a try.
