absolutely make the granny flat your master wing. Can still include the laundry, but the size is perfect for a master. When you have kids, it'll fit their cots for when they're babies, then move them into the main house in their own rooms.

If this is your forever home I would have a master bedroom, ensuite, walk in robe and a small bedroom that if you’re planning to have kids can be a nursery while Bub is young then later can be used as an office and the current office can be a bedroom

Just an idea for your laundry room. Being tall and having the washer and dryer raised with slide out shelves underneath to put the washing basket on is great because you dont have to bend down to load and unload the laundry😊

Laundry and linen cupboards along the “walk way” on one side with a window/sliding doors on the other. then utilise the whole granny flat (including the old laundry) into a master suite. That way it’s a private sanctuary with no laundry duties to disturb you
