Hi there I am the Principal and owner of a 'girls first' school from Oxford in England. I guess you know what that means. We give the girls privileges and priorities over the boys and never ever punish the girls no matter what they do. Approve?In my school, girls have priority and many privileges. Girls are allowed to copy test answers. They eat better. They eat first at lunch. Boys must wait until all the girls have finished their lunch and gone to play before eating. Prior though and whilst the girls eat, the boys receive collective punishments (if one boy did something wrong then all are punished with preventative punishments ) either by doing extra work or by catching up on lessons (girls always finish faster; they are smarter). The girls are never punished, no matter what they do. Girls are given higher grades for similar quality test answers or homework: it could be something like the girls get 10 but the boys only a 6. The boys have many strict rules to follow, including the uniform. The girls can adapt their uniform to make it more fashionable. Make-up and cute hair styles are required though it's a rule: pigtails and braids. Ribbons and bows. During the hot summer or exam period, the girls have a summer uniform that keeps them cool, but the boys only have one uniform, the winter one, which means they must wear a tie and blazer in the summer but girls never do. The girls can go to the bathroom whenever they want and are allowed to bring a friend to chat with. They do not need to ask permission from the teacher. The boys are forbidden from going to the bathroom in class time. They have to keep it in. Sometimes the girls tease them about this, even the female teacher teases the boys too and the girls laugh. We celebrate International Women's Day. On that day, girls have a holiday or a party on campus with special food only for the girls and boys must continue working in their classes. We organize special field trips and activities just for girls so that boys feel excluded, inferior, lose confidence, and become isolated even so that they do not bother girls and the power in class is with the girls and therefore it is like a real study atmosphere.
