Day 10 of my digital marketing journey… and my biggest motivation isn’t money – it’s freedom. 💻✨ When I was teaching, I regularly worked 60–80 hour weeks. As an Assistant Headteacher, SENCO and Senior DSL, the work never stopped. There was always another meeting, another email, another safeguarding concern, another lesson to prepare and another job to add to the to-do list. Eventually, I knew it wasn’t sustainable. Leaving teaching was one of the hardest decisions I’ve ever made, but it gave me the opportunity to build something new. I started my online tuition business alongside a 9–5 job, and over time, I was able to go full-time with my business. I’m incredibly grateful for that because I already have far more flexibility than I did in the classroom. But I’m still trading my time for money. That’s why I’m now learning about digital marketing, digital products, affiliate marketing and creating additional income streams online. Seeing people who have built businesses that give them genuine flexibility and more control over their lives is hugely motivating. They’ve worked hard to create that freedom, and it’s inspiring to see what’s possible. Today is Day 10 of documenting my journey, and I honestly can’t believe this community has grown to 780 followers already. Thank you to every single one of you for following along, commenting, sharing your own experiences and sending such encouraging messages. They genuinely mean a lot. I don’t know exactly where this journey will lead over the next few months or years, but I’m excited to keep learning, keep building and keep sharing everything along the way.
