Skylar in real life would obviously be the voice of reason, but the way she was written, in the shows context, and from Walt’s perspective (which is the way BB is told) she’s an annoying antagonist. Context and perspective matter.

So many people in the comments forgetting that Vince Gillian himself wrote Walter as the bad guy. He doesn't just screw over Skyler, he screws over Jessie, Mike and Hank too. I don't understand how so many people miss that

Alright, but I didn't like Skylar WAY before any of that. I suspect that their marriage was over before the show even began, and as a result there was a lot of passive aggressive hostility between her and Walt. And I don't hate her, by any means, but I just never really liked her.

Did people in the comments forget that the protagonist is a villain and a drug lord who went behind his family's back? Walter was entirely selfish, and he had many opportunities to back out of that life.
