Collab with @_malar11 👅👅 The North. The Wall. Snow fell thick and sideways, stinging the eyes. The wind whistled through the rocks, and Vyvielinne felt the cold creeping even through her cloak. Alcora flew high, over hills covered with sparse black forest. Below – no one. Only snow, pine needles, and emptiness. The Wall appeared suddenly. Icy and enormous, reaching into the grey sky. Alcora descended, straight toward the gates. Snow burst in all directions under her wings as she landed before the gates. Men in black scrambled, someone shouted: — It's the princess! Open the gates! Vyvielinne straightened in the saddle, winced, rubbed her lower back. Her breath came out in white clouds, and Alcora shifted uneasily from foot to foot as a foreign scent drifted down from above. She dismounted. Slowly, heavily, carefully climbing down the rope ladder and then sinking into the snow. Alcora immediately lowered her head to her, and Vyvielinne stroked her hot neck. — Calm, Alcora. I'm alright. Above, on the Wall, a long neck covered in red scales was just visible, and a muzzle was clearly studying the newcomers. Fireblood hung over the Wall, his claws driven into the ice, and stared at Alcora with unblinking eyes. — Who is that, Fireblood? — a voice drifted down from above. Aemon stepped closer to the edge and looked down, recognizing the dragon at once. He moved to Fireblood, stepped onto the bend of the wing as if it were a ledge, and simply climbed onto his back – no saddle, gripping the spikes at the base of the neck. Once settled, he tapped his palm lightly against the scales. Fireblood pushed off from the Wall. They dropped, then the dragon spread his wings, made a wide circle, and landed heavily in the snow opposite Alcora, letting out a low rumble. Aemon jumped down into the snow. He walked to Fireblood, and the dragon lowered his head, offering his chin. Aemon scratched it, briefly, wordlessly. Vyvielinne watched him, taking in the weathered lines of his face. She couldn't help but think that Rhaenyra probably wouldn't recognize him – he had changed too much since their last meeting. — You... have a dragon, — she said. — Yes, — Aemon answered simply. — Still half-wild. But he listens. Vyvielinne stepped closer, and they stood side by side, watching Fireblood. She held her belly with both hands, and Alcora behind her let out a heavy breath, wrapping them both in steam. — Rhaenyra heard about your dragon, — Vyvielinne said. — She wants to see you. Aemon turned his head. — Rhaenyra wants me to do my duty to the house? Vyvielinne sighed. Rubbed her lower back. — Yes. Do you have hot water here? My back hurts. Aemon let out a short, quiet laugh, giving her a measuring look – he hadn't seen her in a long time either. — We'll manage that. You shouldn't be standing in the cold. Come. She walked, slightly slow, sinking into the snow. Behind their backs, Alcora stretched her muzzle toward Fireblood and began sniffing him, swaying her head gently from side to side, while he growled quietly in return, stepping back. #houseofthedragon #hotd #got #gameofthrones #art #dragon #danceofthedragons #targaryen #oc #collaboration
