When we bought our house, they had them mounted on the ceiling so they’d never trigger. 🤔 we def fixed that right away.

serious question about those. so in winter when it's snowing, how do you stop the snow from blocking the sensor so the garage will shut without hitting the button 10 times? are there different sensors that account for that?

Legit question: can you have 2 sets of sensors? One at the 6” height but also one higher? My hubby keeps shutting the garage door with the lift gate of his SUV up…

When I was a kid, dad had them mounted above the garage door opener, less than an inch apart. Never had an issue

As I work for an insurance company, I don’t think we’d want to insure that house…love to see the claim on that one when it comes down on a car or person.

I put mine 24 inches off the ground. That’s the height of my wife’s bumper. She won’t close the door on her bumper again.
