small creators this hurts so freaking much because established trust with the algorithm is high value. I noticed if is big , gmvmax takes it but kills it even if convert 1 sale. I feel bad for small brands

Big brands keep cutting my commissions so low that I have to sell 3-5x’s the amount and I seem to make less when I have my ads on so I’ve turned my ads back off no hate this whole GMV max thing. I wish they would bring back the ability to go mega viral with organic. I can only hit about 2mil views with organic.

Smaller brands make me way more money 100% than big brands but it’s finding those smaller brands with ad spend that others aren’t aware of yet. I don’t know that someone will go mega viral with them but for someone like me it’s enough to not work a 9-5😅

I feel this hurts small creators like me because I don’t promote any big brands because I don’t really get samples approved from them. I’m just not there yet and I’m not so sure I want to buy those products. So sad I’ve put all this work into this and TT changed to this.

So basically small creators and small business owners are screwed. I count on free samples as i can’t afford to buy name brand- like the super expensive ones. And small business owners can’t afford ad spend.

TikTok shop is just not fun anymore - it’s burn out, it’s being pushed into a niche or box, it’s not finding cool unique gadgets or products. It’s more work, less sales 😢 I’m a has-been saphire creator who feels like a newbie. It feels like I have no idea how to make a sale anymore..

As a fashion creator it’s tough right now for sure. I love promoting smaller brands who have incredible quality and lux looks for less. But literally my views are not there anymore. So having to change it up a bit as well
