@itsjustkriss97: Today marks 5 years I have been clean and sober! I came along way to be where I am now! I’ve had a lot of good times and a lot of horrible times where I wanted to use again but pushed through the urge and told myself “NO” bc it’s not worth it! I started with a 3 month stay at 2 different rehabs and then 3 months at a local sober house and then I moved completely out of state to be away from people, places, and things! I am so proud of myself it’s not even funny! And now that I made it this far I know I can keep going! I don’t have temptations around me and I have a great support system around me! I am now enrolled in classes at Post University in CT to be a Drug and Alcohol Addiction Counselor and passed 5-6 classes so far! I can’t wait to be done so I can work and help other people get clean or even just help them in general! Thank you to all the people that helped me in the last 5 years and made this all possible for me!
