but I will forget it at once after I read .. and can not remember the verse.. will it still useful? I become frustrated..all I remember is the words and stories from my childhood

I ENJOY reading my Bible! Learning how much God truly loves us, fills my heart! Reading the Bible is a true showcase to how intentional God really is. He thinks of EVERYTHING!! I love Him!

I finished reading the bible entirely for the first time ever in my 47 years of life! it took me December 24 until March 26. However im a baby Christian so my first bible i bought was KJV and oh my! That version is very hard for me to comprehend. so it took me about 6 months struggling to read it before buying NLT one. Then it went by so quickly after that! Im also teaching myself obedience with the bible praying etc. I read a minimal of 7pgs a day and thats a minimal of 40 minutes for me. baby Christian so it takes me much longer to truly understand.

chapter a day, psalm a day and I'm half way through the new testament already. his not lying. I've seen more discernment, his voice is clearer, and authority to prayer is stronger. Good preaching.
