when I was in middle school this girl only spoke spanish, and she was the only one that spoke spanish. I wrote an entire notebook with translations of simple phrases for myself to attempt communication with her, and I would try to read books to her and such. one day when school was over she said something I couldn’t understand, gave me a kiss on the cheek, and left. I never saw her again. I miss her. ☹️

Probably writing this for myself, but I've been dreaming of moving to Italy when I'm around 20 years old. Want to start a new life there. For now I'm trying to learn Italian language and culture, saving up money for one way ticket to Italy and want to find my true love there. Trying to learn my true love's soul language.

No way i wrote about this a few weeks ago: Every soul speaks its own language. Some people understand a few words, some understand whole conversations — but rarely every word. For many, the same words carry completely different meanings. But for the first time, you won’t just understand someone’s sentences or their stories. You understand their whole soul. Their language suddenly feels familiar, as if it had always been yours too. And maybe it is. But even that feeling can deceive you. Some people don’t speak from their soul, they speak through translators. And in that mirrored voice, it can feel like home, until you realise the home was never theirs to give. Because of that, you must be careful not to do the same. If you keep translating yourself just to be understood, one day you might forget your own language — and even your own soul, followed by your soulmate, will no longer recognise your voice.
