@sacramentourbanmedia916: A Michigan man is accused of fatally shooting his girlfriend in front of her children — then handing them candy before leaving the scene, according to authorities. Zachary Fuqua, 39, faces a charge of second-degree murder, based on Macomb County jail records reviewed by Law&Crime. Prosecutors say Fuqua killed 38-year-old Erika Sanders on Tuesday at her home in Warren, a city roughly 20 miles north of Detroit. Three of her four children were reportedly inside the home at the time. In the days leading up to the shooting, Fuqua appeared to post troubling messages on social media, including one that read, “Going out with a bang,” dated March 14. Authorities allege that around 5:30 p.m., Fuqua shot Sanders in the back of the head while her children were present. After the shooting, he fled the residence — but not before interacting with the children. According to prosecutors, Fuqua gave the children candy as he left, telling them, “Here y’all babies go.” Police arrived to find Sanders unresponsive, lying face down. Fuqua was located shortly after and taken into custody. A judge has ordered him held without bond at the Macomb County Jail. He is expected to return to court on April 1.#fyp #viral
