I also love character driven versus plot driven. I just got done watching something in the rain and it had so many bad reviews that it was boring and I never felt there was one boring episode. Totally agree can’t wait to watch this one!

Out of topic: Still Shining was offered to Chae Jong-hyeop first but he declined. It was then offered to Rowoon who also declined. It was finally accepted by Jinyoung which is probably for the best since he nailed the character Tae-seo.

I love character driven shows, including Still shinning and all the others you mentioned. I know it’s just a matter of preference but I find frustrating that so many people find these “boring”. I’ve learned I just have to watch shows that seem interesting to me for myself and not really pay attention to reviews.

The actors had bring out the characters to life. it's true to life experience, we feel their emotions in every scene. The story focuses on life transformation and relationship. I love this series!

I've not watched it yet but the lead actor has a way of oozing so much chemistry with his female leads. Saw it in Yumi's Cells and Out Written Seoul. He's an amazing actor

Knowing it’s from the same writer as A Piece of Your Mind, I expected the pacing to take it's time, sad, gentle and deliberate. You just need a little patience for the slowness. Once it picks up, you’ll understand why the story needed that quiet build. And when it finally clicks, it’s really precious and meaningful.
