@raytheironman: My first winter ocean swim 🌊❄️ 4:15 AM — left home 6:00 AM — arrived at Sandy Hook Beach Cold, dark, and honestly a little scary… but I was ready. Suiting up with my cold water gear (My buoy and shark protector = essential for survival 😂) Met some amazing swimmers — Jerry, Mollie & Curtis So kind and supportive 🙏 Jerry showed me how to properly wear my gloves, boots, and watch And then… it was time to go in. Air: 41°F Water: 39°F It was freezing, but surprisingly manageable. First goal: 1000 yards And YES… we did it 🙌🔥 Huge thanks for the guidance! Finished the morning with Korean-style cup ramen 🍜 Best reward ever. Tried something completely new today, and it turned into such a meaningful experience with great people.
