Our instincts and societal education teach us to think and reason for ourselves and experience then tells us what steps to take to be independent. But God teaches us not to lean on our own understanding but to trust in Him and be dependent on Him. I think what you have articulated here is God’s lesson in action. ❤️🩹❤️🩹❤️🩹

Amen. I was losing myself in it. He showed me that it wasn’t what I thought it was. And He showed me how dependent I am on Him. On the outside I’m steps back from where I was before. In the heart I’ve taken steps forward, even though the hardships have increased for now. He is good. 🙏🏻
