Nurse here in Oxford, been here 19 years, raised my kids here, still feel like a peasant when I leave my house. Luckily we bought back in 2012, cause otherwise we’d never be able to afford to live here. Cost of living here has increased ASTRONOMICALLY compared the the rest of the county. We all hold our breath until the students leave again 😒

Moved here from MI and love it. I've never met a group of students (and residents) so respectful, willing to help, and as kind as I see here. While it may appear the way you are describing it, people here are much more than they appear at first glance. I absolutely love it. People are just happier - and I've traveled all over.

Went to work at the hospital in Oxford straight out college 25 years ago. LOVED every minute of it! However, I commuted from my hometown because 20 year old single me could not live there. Spent 10 years there before I hung up my scrubs for my children…said I would go back and haven’t made it yet. I will forever bleed HOTTY TODDY!! But now most of my mine goes to Hail State 😁
