No fr my kids will be doing research and learning about any pet they ask for. My parents did that for me when I was young and it convinced me that those pets weren’t right for me at that age

I love people like you who think about more than just a display, but also the quality of life. youre awesome :) I was js talking to my mom today about how im not ready for a snake, not because I dont want one (I REALLY want a snake) but because I dont have the knowledge to care for one yet. animals deserve to live happy, healthy lives with owners who know how to care for them

That or when people get ball pythons because they are “cute” and “small” yet don’t realize they are a 20+ year commitment and they need special temps+humidity+proper space+hides it’s so sad to see sometimes man (my husbands aunt has her 5 yr old bp in a 55 gallon, shitty bedding and 1 single hide and no monitor for humidity, she also didn’t get a humidifier till I said something….)
