@norsk.med.aria: The key to becoming fluent 🇳🇴 At some point you need to stop emphasizing every word and start looking at the bigger picture. In this study example you can hear how I connect sounds together in the same way, regardless of whether they are one long word or separate words in a sentence. In these two examples, there is only ONE emphasized syllable, and this is the only place you will hear the pitch accent (tonem), which in this case is pitch accent one. Notice the direct fall from the previous syllable, down onto the low, flat syllable. This is what creates pitch accent 1 - a very characteristic eastern Norwegian intonation.# Notice the contrasting rhythm too - you have one long syllable, and the rest of the syllables are short.
