🚨Handling the “arrogant” one 👇 🧠 When someone interrupts us especially on more than one occasion it can leave us feeling disrespected and with a perception that the person is arrogant 🚫 They may well be arrogant but more than likely the cause of the interrupting stems from a lack of self awareness and/or a lack of emotional regulation- not bad intent. It’s also worth noting that when people are excited to share something or feel strongly sometimes they interrupt without bad intent. 💡 I would recommend talking to them about your concern in a calm and respectful way EVEN if they do appear arrogant. If you highlight it in a non-accusatory way by sticking to the facts you may well find they recognise it and apologise.
