Pros and Cons: Pros: - friendly staff and vendors - clean area, crowd was decent (to me, I felt like customers were polite, I can not say the same for other events) - had local entertainment (at least some of the people I saw) - things were cute (“picture perfect setup” for local marketing is probably a concfor some) - layout was organized Cons: - local vendors were not allowed to participate - expensive for people (though it makes sense. most places like this need to upcharge to offset venue pricing for contracted vendors) but also overall its a cash grab for a non local company - they did it the same weekend as chinese fest (they had nk way of knowing though because they are not from pittsburgh) - they are not from pittsburgh (except some performers) - food not authentic and tasted mid - drinks were mid - con for me, but not every vendor was asian … lol Neutral - craft vendors had to pay for their own flights to sell at the festival (unfortunately this is how they make their living so no need to shit on them drop shipping) - staff had their flights paid for and get paid hourly. this is a good opportunity for people looking to side hustle and be in a different city - i didnt see any karens and also i think the crowd was more family oriented. maybe not a place for college kids to experience authentic cultures when there are better things to do in the city - there are much better events going in in Pittsburgh city but if ur a family in the suburbs and its hard to get out, this is a pretty convenient one stop shop to entertain children anyways, might have missed some thoughts so feel free to ask questions and ill answer
