I own a clothing store (different from a boutique since we carry items no other stores around us can carry and def not found on Amazon) and I will say my price for one item since November has gone up about $28-34 each. Totally get what you’re saying but a small business that prices correctly isn’t trying to steal money from a customer, half the time we’re barely breaking even because how high all other expenses are.

Most boutiques will just double what they get for wholesale so if they buy a shirt for $50 wholesale then they’ll mark it as $100 just to make there money back
