@youthpastorryan: Everyone can get scammed! I was skeptical of the first email but man that second one gave all the info I needed to see the scam for what it was! Be on the lookout for these types of phishing attacks, they can look very real.

I’m a boomer - at this point I just don’t click on links ever

I just got a text saying I had violations for driving on my license and that I was at risk for losing my license if I didn't pay fine in a state I no longer live in. I just have the phone number. first off this isn't a thing that any state does. it's also why I didn't click the link. you never click links. always go directly to the website itself or if someone calls you then hang up and call the company at their listed number.

When the internet was just becoming noticeable in the late 90’s their was a software program called guard dog and it would send virus back to the recipients who sent them to you. Loved that program.

I have had people message my business account going that is Copyrighted designs you are going to be etc etc etc click here to fix it. I laugh and ignore it because all the designs on my page are ones I made, I licensed and so on. I had one get stolen and is being sold out of a shop in China to cricut users. it hurts but only had one person ever argue it when asked to not use it cause it was my logo in the design that went on the sleeves for the shirts I sold.
