Is an HSLDA membership worth it? Also, which test could we take that’s not timed? My child can not be rushed 🫠 academically and in life.

For this next school year I am wanting to put my going into kinder & 1st grade in homeschool abeka. Should I do the placements test first ? My tk kid seems like she can be going to first next year.

I believe you also need to go to dnpe, login to your account and submit that you DID test. You just dont submit score. This is the main page after logging in. Click add/change standardized testing, and then you can add the information. The bottom part is the first test I did with my oldest this year.

How do you know if your child has to go somewhere to do the state testing vs you can do it? I looked up the state laws and for us in Washington they have to take the test but it does not specify how or who administers it. Any help?!

Hey there I have a question about when do I register for homeschool? I live in NC too. My son is currently 6yrs old and will turn 7yrs April 30th so next month. Should I register him 30days before his birthday? Also does that mean I have to give him state testing for this school year?

we are under UA with step up and we are definitely using MAP and IXL do we need to submit those to the district if they are on UA?

I’m in Florida and I have one child with FLVS flex, I have one under Step Up UA and Step UP PEP. It seems like if I go with the testing route, which I want to to see where they are that it would have to be in person or have a test proctor. We have taken MAPs but i don’t believe it had a proctor. I had to do certain day and time but there wasn’t someone on a zoom or anything? First year homeschooling and looking for me guidance. They reach out to HEO but they are not being timely.
