people complain about the controls, but combat plays just like black desert. you hold down your light or power attack to continuously strike then press any of the skills you've unlocked (Y,A,X,B) while holding down the basic power or light attack. you glide across the battlefield effortlessly without buttoncmashing

I think the big thing is people are so used to cookie cutter controls when you make something different it requires a learning curve. we should praise them for making a truly unique and amazing game tbh.

I was enjoying the exploration alot and not the combat as much. But when I fought Hornsplitter and Matthias, it just clicked. Game feels very satisfying.

crimson desert is overhyped. It's open world slop with barely any content you could call a story, and dont get me started on the controls, I would say give it a try but it aint worth the hype it got pre-release.
