I mean… (I’m Canadian), but in their défense, since the flight is like 10h minimum we need to come for at least 12-15 days so the price and time ton travel is worth it… a big suitcase is necessary. I have done it with carry on & oufff not easy.

I am a British (lived in America twenty years) that just came back from Rome. I did this exact route. With my suitcase on wheels. It was fine. Just buy a good strong case

The best thing I did was budget in money for taxis from the airport or train station straight to the front door of my hotel.

In Germany I could see the train station from my hotel. Less than a mile away. When I checked in and checked out I took a car. Well worth the $ to not have to drag luggage across the cobblestones
